Summary
The Commercial IT Business Partner will play a crucial role in aligning IT solutions with business strategies. This position involves analyzing business needs, recommending technology solutions, and ensuring successful implementation to enhance our sales and commercial efficiency and achieve business goals. This role will support processes, applications and business needs for our customer teams including front line sales associates, merchandisers, field service teams, key accounts, capabilities and commercial marketing teams. It will also play a key role in aligning the foundational needs within our master data management practices to ensure data integrity required to enhance customer experience, improve process and system reliability in our commercial applications, reduce costs and support business growth to gain market share.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct thorough business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and implement IT strategies that support business objectives and drive growth.
- Manage and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and deliver expected business value.
- Provide ongoing support and training to end-users to ensure effective use of IT systems.
- Stay up to date with commercial emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
- Act as a liaison between the IT department and other business units to ensure seamless communication.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring timely delivery of IT solutions.
- Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Work closely with IT teams to design, develop, and implement technology solutions that meet business requirements.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements, present findings, and provide updates on project progress.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements business communications, and user training guides.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of IT solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant work experience required
Key Technical Skills
- Salesforce: Experience with CRM system capabilities such as contact center, retail execution, Field service Lightning and Lifecyle customer onboarding.
- Spring: Experience with sales ordering capabilities to manage customer visits, order writing, merch scheduling and customer management.
- Automation Technologies: Ability to identify AI capabilities to enhance customer satisfaction by optimizing intelligent ordering, providing real time inventory checks, reducing ordering and delivery errors, automated delivery adjustment notifications, real time service call tracking and progress.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Capable of understanding master data needs to ensure successful AI implementation across platforms and processes
