Summary

Job duties will include but are not limited to sorting and throwing shells; sorting and stacking pallets; product rework; baling cardboard or plastic; general housekeeping duties, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• General warehouse clean-up, moving product
• Update of safety markings, painting, cleaning
• Restock and replenish as appropriate
• Perform general warehouse duties.
• Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Follow proper general warehouse procedures
• Accountable for proper product rotation in all areas of the warehouse
  • Ensure FIFO is followed (First in, First Out)
• Accountable for damaged product in the warehouse caused by poor work methods (damaging product through poor handling)
• Periodic bending, kneeling, lifting of 50+ pounds, and climbing.
• Follow established company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality procedures and policies.
• Actively participate in Hazard Mitigation.
• Complete assigned Health & Safety trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Will require excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have ability to follow directions and work independently
• Must be able to move or lift in excess of 50 pounds
• Must understand production and distribution process; have a sense of urgency
• Must have general mathematical aptitude
• Physical requirements: climbing, stooping, squatting, lifting
