Job Summary

The Business Manager provides financial analysis and administrative support for various departments.  Responsible for accurate and timely processing and adherence to proper accounting procedures and internal controls.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure payroll and people functions are processed timely and accurately.  Facilitates on-boarding process for new hires, manages equipment and uniform needs and returns.  Assists employees and supervisors regarding payroll and timekeeping matters.
  • Assists with accounts receivable and payables including charge backs, AR write offs, NSF.  Assists with AR activities, such as pricing discrepancies, proof of delivery and NSF.  Reviews and resolves open liabilities past 30 days.  Supports the mail check process for customer refunds.
  • Manage the administrative function including monitoring pre-settlement and/or cashiering activities to ensure timeliness and accuracy.  Leads the analysis and resolution of all driver cash and product over/shorts.  Coordinates all general administrative activities including reception, phones, supplies, etc.  May be responsible for inventory recounts/settlement. 
  • Facilitate planning and leadership for employee events, plan the facility preparation for visitors and company functions, and support employee engagement activities. 
  • Monitor the internal control compliance, identify gaps for functional management teams and assist in remediation.   Support the sampling/free goods process to ensure that there are proper internal controls.  Audit and monitor fleet/fuel transactions.
  • Assist with procurement activities including coordinating purchasing, maintaining supplier contracts and insurance.  

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of work experience required.
  • Prior experience managing an office with similar responsibilities required.  Accounting background preferred.
  • High level of confidentiality necessary with ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional customer interaction, conflict resolution, and attention to detail required.
  • Strong communication including verbal and written skills.  Builds effective relationships at all organizational levels and ability to present ideas at leadership level.
  • Demonstrated efficiency with use of Microsoft Office Suite.  Ability to learn new applications.
  • Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines.

Pay: $61,787 - $73,372 a year
