Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist performs full cycle recruitment and selection both internally and externally, while maintaining a high level of service providing both positive candidate and manager experiences.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain responsibility for the full life cycle recruitment process to include position requirements, sourcing, screening, candidate management, interviewing, offer process, salary negotiations, and compliance.  
  • Develops a diverse talent pipeline through active recruiting and passive sourcing and candidate screening.  
  • Provides guidance to hiring managers and employees related to hiring policies and procedures.  
  • Builds a hiring strategy by role and location for assigned area ensuring talent is available ahead of needs. 
  • Stays current on recruiting trends and candidate availability.  
  • Maintains accurate candidate records and ensures Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is up to date.  
  • Participates with external organizations in areas of recruitment establishing positive community outreach relationships to increase diversity hires.  
  • Enhance the department and organization by accepting ownership of the responsibilities of the job.  Explore opportunities to increase personal value. Be relentless in seeking continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of work experience.
  • Prior experience with recruitment, preferably in consumer-packaged goods industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of recruiting and sourcing platforms.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to plan and make decisions.
  • Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, and driving record within policy guidelines.
  • This position currently supports our Kansas recruiting efforts in Production, Warehouse and Delivery (CDL and Non-CDL).
  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) preferred
