Schedule: M-F 1pm-9:30pm
Job Summary
The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to collect and unload goods while traveling safely to the storage areas to deliver full goods and dunnage.
Job Responsibilities
- Moves materials, finished goods and product ingredients to and from various storage locations.
- Assists and maintains appropriate inventory levels and product-loss control.
- Allocates necessary space for stock rotation.
- Operate an electric battery changer machine.
- Complete daily checklist to include forklift inspection and activity log.
- Maintains warehouse space capacity and interfaces with outside warehouses, planning, and transportation, as necessary.
- Maintains a clean work area, performs general housekeeping duties, and upkeep of the forklifts.
- Maintains a safe work environment and adheres to the safety policies and guidelines.
- Performs other warehouse responsibilities as needed.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of one year of work experience.
- Must be 18 years of age and legally eligible to work.
- Previous experience in warehouse/inventory management and data systems preferred.
- Basic computer application and database skills, including Word, Excel, and SAP.
- Prior experience using a forklift is required. Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required.
- Working knowledge of forklifts and the appropriate maintenance/operations.
- Capable of being cross trained within the Warehouse department (recycle machine, scrubber, forklift).
- Capable of working flexible shifts when necessary, including evenings and weekends.

- Speaking: Constantly (investigates, recommends, reports, etc.)
- Acute Vision: Constantly (observing both near and far, reading documents)
- Mobility: Frequent travel throughout production center (walking in warehouse)
- Bending/Squatting: Frequently (picking up product, moving product)
- Lifting: Frequent- Lift 50 lbs. or less (full cases of product)
- Climate: Frequent work in a non-climate-controlled environment (cold, hot)
