Job Summary
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for warehousing duties including the physical handling of product, materials, supplies, and equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate industrial powered equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Receive and process inbound loads.
- Count inventory and process breakage, damage, and loss (BD&L) for daily inventory counts.
- Manually restock and replenish product and materials, ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation.
- Perform general maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with company safety and sanitation requirements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
- Fill in for other warehouse positions as needed.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- A minimum of one year of work experience is required.
- Must be 18 years of age and legally eligible to work.
- Prior experience in warehouse or inventory preferred.
- Prior experience using forklift and powered rider pallet jack preferred. Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required.
Physical Requirements
- Speaking: Constantly (investigates, negotiates, recommends, reports, etc.)
- Acute Vision: Constantly (observing both near and far, reading documents)
- Mobility: Frequent travel throughout warehouse (walking)
- Bending/Squatting: Constantly (picking up product, moving product)
- Lifting: Frequent- Lift 50 lbs. or less (full cases of product)
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures vary with the seasons.
