Job Description
The Manager - Operational Marketing Region will provide general management of complex department funding reconciliation, invoice processing and billing across parent companies in marketing programs, Point of Sale, and equipment. This position will coordinate with the Sales Management team to ensure effective execution in the market. Projects manager lead for a multitude of projects meeting both Region and marketing needs.
What your day will look like:
- Parent Company funding reconciliation with Region Controller and Division Accounting Managers
- Operational Marketing Department billing reconciliation for coupons, point of sale material, & rack orders
- Acts as company subject matter expert to ensure all Point of Sale (POS), coupons, rules, etc., protects the company’s rights, trademarks, and investment
- Manages Regional projects within Marketing Department
- Assist in scheduling and logistics for marketing roadshows and sales rallies in Divisions and Sales Centers
- Creates department and Region presentations for Region meetings
- Schedules Department meetings, monthly Division reviews and all routine Teams calls
- Creates, orders, and tracks brand coupons
- Maintains marketing files in programs and creative images
- Leads organization of marketing programs in local sampling, innovation sales rallies and Region marketing meetings
- General administrative duties in scheduling/preparing marketing meetings, division calls, creating marketing presentations, scheduling department travel as necessary across Divisions and Sales Center meetings. (pending Central confirmation)
- Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions
- Strong attention to details with good planning and organizing skills is required
- Strategic thinking skills along with problem-solving and solid analytical skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel)
- Daily professional contact with a department organization
- Detail oriented, creative, well spoken, well written communication skill as well as comfortable and highly skilled in making business presentations
- Able to display solid analytical skills
- Good planning and organizing skills are required
- Project management experience required
Physical Requirements
Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
