Job Description

The Manager - Field Marketing Execution Region is responsible for sourcing Brand plans to communicate monthly business priorities for Independent retailers by consumer segment. 

What your day will look like:

  • Creation of Pictures of Success business priorities
  • Selection, ordering, and communication of all marketing tools to support retail programs
  • Selection and ordering of all coupons to be used to support retail programs
  • Present Pictures of Success and Marketing Tools to Sales Teams in the designated Region communication
  • Work with National Retail Sales teams and Region and Division Key Account Directors/Managers to create customized Pictures of Success for specific accounts
  • Determine the tools (Merchandising Aids and Point of Sale) necessary to fully execute all retail programs 
  • Communicate the approved list of tools to Divisions/Sales Centers
  • Work with vendors to get best pricing for sustaining tools and ensure that they are available to order. Determine the tools needed to fully execute promotional programs, order tools, and arrange for direct shipment to Sales Centers, and communicate to Sales Centers what they will be receiving and the estimated time of arrival
  • Select and order all coupons to be used to execute Brand plans and retail programs. Work with Brand Operations Manager to secure any available funding for coupons. Create and distribute coupons
  • Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum age 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to read, write and speak English 
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
  • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or at least 1 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Basic Math Skills needed
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to be detail-oriented and creative
  • Strong negotiating skills and knowledge of our business that will aide in choosing the correct merchandising equipment

Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc
