General Purpose

Responsible for leading a team of Merchandisers / Order Replenishment Merchandisers maintaining merchandising standards and order replenishment activities within a designated geographic area.  This position is responsible for >5mm cases.  

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Merchandisers/Order Replenishment Merchandisers (ORMs) to maintain merchandising standards, lead order replenishment and PIcOs execution in an assigned geographic territory 
  • Train, evaluate and develop team of Merchandisers / ORMs 
  • Build Merchandising Team Capabilities for future career advancement 
  • Supervise the daily sales and align merchandising/order replenishment activities through collaboration with Field Sales teams 
  • Schedule Merchandisers/ORMs to meet business demands 
  • Main “Point of Contact” responsible for ordering, transmissions, missed deliveries, dispatch, hot shots, off day deliveries and CSTs 
  • Build relationships with store managers and outlet team members 
  • Routinely visit accounts to monitor adherence to merchandising/order replenishment standards and back room management 
  • Manage labor and OPEX merchandising budgets 
  • Weekly Planning: 
  • Analyze sales data and develop weekly merchandising plans 
  • Volume tracking for order writing efficiencies 
  • Review load sheets, adjust schedules as needed 
  • Plan holiday/peak ordering schedules based on review of forecasted volume 
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to maintain appropriate staffing levels 
  • Respond to and resolve customer merchandising issues 
  • Manage weekly merchandising time keeping and mileage approvals  
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • 1-3 years’ experience in consumer products 
  • Experience managing people and budgets 
  • 1+ years supervisory experience 
  • Computer and database application skills 
  • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product 
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines 

Preferred: 

  • Familiarity with DOT regulations 
  • Prior beverage experience 
  • 2+ years supervising DSD/retail employees 
  • Prior order replenishment experience
