General Purpose

The Print Shop Manager acts as the Company’s lead on management and distribution of Point of Sale materials.  The Manager is responsible for developing and executing a wide range of print production/design projects for all Merchandising Materials, while driving productivity by owning the overall Print Shop budget.  The role leads talent development and engagement of the Print Shop team.  The Print Shop Manager steward adaptation of brand and corporate visual identity through standards, policies, and system-wide utilization of design platforms, and develops strategies for how to best meet future system demand for custom design executed effectively, driven by evolving needs for customer specific shopper marketing tools. 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Facilitates workflow through the Print Shop by making sure all production deadlines are met with proper brand guidelines and standards to ensure optimized output quality 
  • Ensures the quality and accuracy of files printed in-house 
  • Checks artwork for completeness and assure adherence to standards before production and distribution 
  • Responsible for internal communications to different levels of the organization (ie: leadership, field and key account sales teams, commercialization, franchise leadership, etc) 
  • Maintains on-hand raw materials inventory levels, boxing, shipping and completion of final fulfilled materials to their intended destinations 
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment.
  • Control and manage Point of Sales (POS) warehouse operations including receiving, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods; document recording and data entry of information into required systems 
  • Manage and control POS inventory to keep shrink and customer service levels within standards 
  • Setup layout, organize, monitor space management and ensure the health, safety cleanliness and security of the work environment 
  • Monitor and assist personnel in the processing and fulfillment of orders; evaluation of their performance and progress 
  • Attract, retain and develop effective personnel to ensure an efficient, motivated and skilled workforce 
  • Lead, develop and direct all facility personnel 
  • Review job performance and coach as necessary 
  • Drive productivity by managing the overall Print Shop budget, to include: Raw materials, labor, and equipment costs 
  • Lead system-wide capability development around Design Machine, IMC Portal, and other key Company design and communication platforms 
  • Develop strategies to meet demand for custom design executed effectively, in partnership with Brand and Shopper Marketing teams 
  • Collaborate with Market Unit Commercial teams to identify and execute custom messaging and POS materials for non-tier 1 assets/customers 
  • Collaboration with other Bottler Ownerships and Coca-Cola Bottler Shared Services 
  • Annual planning ownership for Print Shop
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Master’s desired  
  • Bachelor’s degree within print or graphics related field strongly preferred or equivalent trade experience in print production 
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the pre-press, design and/or print industry 
  • Minimum 4 years Management experience 
  • Professional experience with graphic programs, such as: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Onyx and Fiery RIP software, and print management software.  Additionally, MS Office Suite. 
  • Ability to lift 20-30 pounds and operate large office equipment 
  • Experience with large and small format graphic printing 
  • Effective communicator at multiple organizational levels (Key Accounts, Sales Operations, Franchise Leadership, Commercialization) 
  • Understanding of the creative process, color management and production techniques 
  • Proven track record of achieving sustainable results 
  • CPG Industry experience is an asset 
  • Minimum 4 years Operational / Warehouse experience
