Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $22.46 to $28.14 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
General Purpose
Responsible for the daily material requirements for the operation of the production lines. Able to maintain direct and indirect material inventory levels, ordering, receiving and of parts and supplies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Count and reconcile daily inventory, primarily, raw materials and indirect materials.
- Monitor and track raw material usage.
- Receive, reconcile and confirm daily orders.
- Communicate, coordinate, and build strong relationships with suppliers/vendors at varying points through the day.
- Report to management/supervision daily out of stock items/materials.
- Review, monitor, and address inventory levels to minimize potential out of stock risk to departments.
- Create Purchase Requisitions in SAP for direct and indirect materials, including but not limited to bottles, cans, wraps, labels, closure, syrup/concentrate, glue, pallet tag, ink, pallets, stretch film CO2 tanks etc.
- Maintain Purchase Orders and phone ordering material from Vendors/Supplier/OEM.
- Issue Request for Quotes (RFQ) to determine best price and delivery for materials and services.
- Prepare and file reports.
- Coordinate and Assist in inventory counts.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years Inventory Control experience.
- Minimum of 2 years Purchase Agent/Buyer experience preferred.
- Background knowledge of SAP preferred. Strong MS Word and Excel skills required.
- Must have strong background in inventory control, planning and coordinating.
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
