General Purpose
Finance Director – Commercial role will be an indispensable business partner to all functions and leaders within the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages, regarding financial forecasting, volume forecasts, OPEX planning, and results analysis. The role will be accountable for aggregation, analytical validation, and reporting of monthly financial forecasts (Rolling Estimate & Business Plan) for the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages and will also play a lead role in consolidated variance narratives for total Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages
This role supports and manages the following areas: Revenue, Funding, Direct Marketing Expense, Shared Services, Contracts, Coupons, Accounts Receivables, Settlements, Incidence Pricing, National Account Support Activities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction for business planning process and play a tactical role as needed
- Interpret and communicate results to appropriate levels of management; assessing for risk and opportunity trends.
- Develop and deploy solutions to mitigate risk and execute opportunities
- Provide financial leadership to Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages teams by identifying productivity improvement opportunities and analyzing/recommending productivity initiative pipeline projects
- Produce and review completed analyses that require application of financial concepts and/or tools
- Support strategic priorities in Dispensed / Foodservice business, including planning and forecasting
- Responsible for financial oversight of all Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Sales & Operations Productivity Initiatives
- Monitor, communicates and supports adherence to internal controls and consistent execution of standard business processes within the region including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Consultant and liaison between Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages, shared services and market units
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate and execute strategies
- 50% travel required
