General Purpose

The Project Manager, Engineer II manages small and large capital project initiatives to support the Plant and/or Distribution Center, including product or package commercialization projects. The Project Engineer provides technical support, project management, and leadership in beverage manufacturing systems and processes in addition to facility civil works. 
 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Development of project plans, creation of budget, coordination of vendors, and supporting execution of projects from conception through start-up and commissioning at agreed performance levels (time, cost, performance, etc.). 
  • Manage regular communication routines with Warehouse leadership teams to insure alignment and awareness. 
  • Manage capital spend, tracking and forecasting using SAP software system and various MS Excel files within a MS SharePoint environment.
  • Supports the selection and improvement of new and existing warehouse equipment and processes required to achieve CCSWB strategies.
  • Establish 5-year capital plans, collaborating with key stakeholders, and leveraging facility building & equipment condition assessments.
  • Investigate, validate and present capital projects to Supply Chain leadership as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Safety, Environmental, Facilities, Procurement, Legal, Operational Excellence, and others to ensure detailed project scopes are captured and executed, including successful project execution and hand-off.  
  • Lead and facilitate development of solutions to support innovation at warehouses, fleet shops, and cooler service shops within Distribution Centers.
  • Manage teams of internal and external stakeholders in addition to working as an individual contributor. 
  • Seek out and engage construction subject matter experts within Engineering and in industry to vet new technical solutions 
  • Analyze equipment and operations performance data to identify opportunities to value engineer equipment solutions to meet business needs while optimizing both cost and flexibility. 
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering or related discipline; equivalent work experience in related field considered.    
  • 5 -10 years of building design & construction engineering required.
  • 5-10 years of experience working with food manufacturing equipment preferred.
  • 40-60% Travel required
