General Purpose

The "Customer Demand Analyst (Product Lifecycle) will support the Product Lifecyle Manager and the Product Lifecycle Team. The Analyst will be responsible for coordinating activities and stakeholders for new product introductions to the portfolio (innovation programs) and product exit processes. The analyst will be developing, maintaining, and enhancing several data reports, tracking new product launches' performance, and assisting with requests related to innovation programs. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead key project management activities for product launches end-to-end: from system setup to ensuring inventory is available at all distribution centers by launch date.
  • Perform quantitative analysis to validate sales forecast.
  • Optimize inventory levels to avoid out-of-stocks and expired products on new launches.
  • Drive initiatives to improve key KPIs such as forecast accuracy, out of stocks, and BD&L (product expiration).
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis to support portfolio optimization based on product performance.  
  • Partner with suppliers to drive resolution of purchased product demand for innovation and exit issues.  
  • Develop standard processes to drive data accuracy. 
  • Develop, enhance & maintain reporting relating to forecasting, Performance Improvement (PI), product availability, innovation, exits, among others. 
  • Provide weekly status updates on new product launches (forecast, sales, inventory, raw materials, among others.) 
  • Gain solid understanding of project requests/requirements or work with project lead(s) to conceptualize desired results and outputs. 
  • Support and enhance innovation routines.  
  • Point of Contact related to OTIC, analysis, and support. 
  • For PI tracking: Data extraction, analysis and reporting to support Product Supply Productivity Initiatives. 
  • Assist with ad-hoc inventory analysis to support national inventory strategies. 
  • Actively seek to continually improve and streamline reporting / analysis routines to provide value added information.  
  • Support ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or similar field or 3 + years of experience in similar role preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in management consulting, project management, or operations (supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, among others)
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel required (Pivot Tables, VLookups, etc.)
  • Ability to structure clear and compelling presentations (storyboarding/storytelling in PowerPoint).
  • Solid project management capabilities.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, proficiently making rational and data-driven decisions. 
  • Effective and clear communication.
