General Purpose
Responsible for identifying opportunities within NRS (National Retail Sales) customers or channels. Territories typically are expanded beyond a local base to include more than one Distribution Center and sometimes Market Units.
Maximize profitable sales opportunities by thoroughly understanding the complexities of the customer or channel's business and building enduring relationships based on trust and integrity with that customer's senior management team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work Closely with NAOU customer teams to provide feedback and insights as a representative of CCSWB.
- Evaluate features, display, rollback, and promotional performance.
- Work collaboratively with L&D and Sales Capabilities to develop training materials.
- Lead customer-initiated projects.
- Work with brand partners to establish priorities and coordinate force shipments.
- Analyze and secure POS needs.
- Track in-stock performance and fill rates and identify root causes of out-of-stocks and lost sales.
- Partner with supply chain and sales teams to identify gaps and processes to improve key customer metrics (OPD metrics, fill rates, OTIF and ASN accuracy).
- Analyze and develop forecasts to include innovation.
- Establish and maintain connection call points with customers to include market and regional managers.
- Develop business review template highlighting risks and growth opportunities.
- Conduct post promotional analysis measuring the success levels of promotions making any necessary changes
- Work with other bottler ownership groups as required based on territory and projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry (CPG)
- At least 2 years’ experience in sales, category management, customer development or major account management
- Proven ability to analyze business performance data and translate insights into actionable customer strategies.
- Experience utilizing syndicated data sources, including Nielsen and other market intelligence platforms.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing customer business plans that drive volume, revenue and profitable growth.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; capable of effectively communicating with both internal stakeholders an customer leadership teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, data analysis tools, and sales planning systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence across sales, supply chain, and customer teams
