Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM

Basic Requirements:

• 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer proficiency
• Availability to work evening shifts and overtime as needed

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining all assets within the automated warehouse. In this role, the Maintenance Technician must identify, troubleshoot and repair problems that occur in automation equipment and processes. This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs
  • Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance
  • Perform electrical, pneumatic and mechanical repairs on automation equipment
  • Generate and complete work orders as assigned
  • Overhaul and install new equipment
  • Rebuild and fabricate parts
  • Manage parts inventory to ensure adequate inventory
  • Perform equipment change-overs and production line set-ups
  • Maintain clean and safe work area at all times
  • Protect the integrity and quality of product at all times
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

 

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or Engineering preferred
  • 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) preferred
  • Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Must be able to use a laptop or tablet to fix errors
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends or other irregular hours as required by business needs
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment where it is required to lift and carry heavy equipment and machinery parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
