Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Overview:
FIFA Interns will support the execution of FIFA-related marketing and fan engagement activations leading up to and during match days in the New England region. Interns will assist with on-site event setup, retail merchandising, and brand visibility efforts at FIFA venues, fan fests, and watch parties. They will work closely with the Marketing Commercialization and Brand Manager teams and gain valuable hands-on experience in marketing and live event operations.
Please Note: This is a highly hands-on role that involves being out in the field and working directly with events, fans, and partners. Hours may vary, depending on match schedules and event needs. Flexibility is key: no two days will look the same, and you’ll gain valuable experience by jumping in wherever needed across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support venue and fan event execution, including FIFA Fan Fest and match-day activations.
- Assist with retail merchandising: deliver, set up, and maintain FIFA-branded displays and materials.
- Act as on-site activators during watch parties and community events.
- Lift and transport event materials (at least 50 lbs).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure smooth event execution and positive fan experiences.
- Support occasional night games and one Saturday game during the period.
Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) an undergraduate program.
- At least 18 years old, authorized to work in the U.S.
- A valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and a driving record that meets company policy.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Current Freshman or higher in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or related field.
- Must be commutable and have access to a car.
- Must be willing to travel to Games and Events: Foxborough MA, Boston MA, Bedford NH, and Providence RI
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Interest in sports marketing and live event operations.
- Must have the ability to repetitively lift, pull and push 50+ pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach
