Job Description

The Point of Sale Clerk will be responsible for managing the Point of Sale (POS) and Ambient Merchandising (AME) needs associated with the company’s sustaining Look of Success (LOS) platform and with various brand and channel-specific marketing programs. The Point of Sale & Merchandising Specialist will be responsible for the coordinating, ordering, tracking, and proper allocating of POS, racks, merchandisers, coupons and other marketing materials. In this role, the Point of Sale Clerk will collaborate closely with channel Directors and Key Account Managers (KAMs) to optimize programs and will play an essential part in the effective implementation of marketing campaigns.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor Coke Catalog for program order deadlines and determine plan of action for each ordering opportunity
  • Communicate the POS & AME aspects of upcoming marketing programs to channel Directors and KAMs and use their input to determine elements to be purchased
  • Design and deploy order grids to channel Directors and KAMs
  • Provide order recommendations to Commercialization team for Sales Center (SC) input prior to placing finalized orders
  • Manage centralized ordering process and oversee physical sorting of marketing materials for distribution to Sales Centers
  • Ensure deliveries are received in full, reconcile inventory received with invoices, provide allocations for payment, make notations regarding applicable funding and receive approval from supervisor prior to submitting invoices for processing
  • Meet with ambient merchandise suppliers to evaluate new merchandising solutions and determine relevant pieces to bring to the team for consideration
  • Work with KAMs on custom AME as needed
  • Participate on Coke Northeast AME subcommittee

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related discipline preferred
  • One plus years of experience in Sales and Marketing or related field
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational ability and time management skills
