Job Description

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for inventory maintenance and reconciliation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct daily cycle counts; research and correct any variances
Reconcile daily, monthly and annual inventory in SAP
Review, monitor and address inventory levels to minimize potential risk for out of stocks
Identify and report close-dated product
Regularly communicate with Warehouse and Sales Center management in regards to current stock and potential issues
Run standard inventory reports as requested

Job Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
1+ years of Warehouse/Inventory experience required
Advanced technical knowledge and working experience with SAP highly preferred
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Must have the ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Must have the ability to read information in small, medium and large print
Must have the ability to occasionally lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach
Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered handling equipment (i.e. pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
