QA Technician Relief - All Shifts

  • Compensation: $21.32/hour + shift differential ($.50 for 2nd shift, $.60 for 3rd shift) + overtime opportunities available!
    • Scheduled Raises: to increase your rate to $26.65/hr by the end of your first year!
  • Schedule: Must be able to work days, nights, and weekends. This position covers vacations and openings on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. When not covering a shift, default schedule will be Monday-Friday, 10PM - 6:30AM.
  • Basic Requirements: 18 years of age or older
  • Preferred experience:

    • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
    • Associate's degree in science related field, food science highly preferred
    • Production/manufacturing or relevant lab technician experience

Job Description

The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician is responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative tests of raw materials and finished goods.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing of raw materials and finished goods throughout all stages of the production process
  • Analyze syrup, water and/or beverage attributes
  • Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters and coders to insure proper operations
  • Conduct quality inspections and audits of packaging and isolate product that does not meet standards
  • Test CO2 and raw materials prior to production process
  • Maintain highest standards of housekeeping and cleanliness to prevent microbial contamination


Job Requirements


  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in science related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in production/manufacturing or 2+ years of relevant lab technician experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with lab safety and handling of hazardous materials
