Job Description
The Trade Spend Analyst at Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast plays a critical role in optimizing trade spend effectiveness to drive profitable growth within our business. This role will be responsible for analyzing trade spend activities, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making processes. The Trade Spend Analyst must possess a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze trade spend data to evaluate promotional effectiveness, ROI, and overall trade spend performance.
- Develop accurate forecasts and budgets for trade spend initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives and financial targets.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on trade spend performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and insights to stakeholders.
- Manage trade spend data sets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity for analysis purposes.
- Identify opportunities to enhance trade spend processes, systems, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to align trade spend strategies with overall business goals.
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis to optimize trade spend allocation and improve promotional strategies.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis as requested to support business initiatives, promotions, and strategic projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in trade spend analysis, preferably within the beverage or consumer goods industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license, driving record within policy guidelines, and insurance that meets company requirements.
- Ability to occasionally travel, as business needs require.
