Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

Overview

This intern role is seeking a technically skilled and creatively minded intern to help modernize and optimize our Quality, Safety, and Environmental (QSE) SharePoint environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and creating clean, intuitive digital designs. You will work directly with QSE leaders to streamline content, improve information flow, and enhance user experience across the company’s central compliance and documentation platform.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Redesign and modernize QSE SharePoint pages to create clean, intuitive, and user-friendly layouts.
  • Streamline and reorganize site content to improve navigation, information flow, and accessibility for employees.
  • Collaborate with QSE leaders to understand requirements, gather feedback, and translate needs into effective digital designs.
  • Identify opportunities for automation or improved functionality within SharePoint to support compliance and documentation processes.
  • Support quality, safety, and environmental teams by ensuring documentation, tools, and resources are easy to find and consistently presented.

Job Requirements

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) an undergraduate program.
  • At least 18 years old, authorized to work in the U.S.
  • A valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and a driving record that meets company policy.
  • Must be commutable
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Someone who is passionate about sustainability and/or has an interst in digital design/UX design.
  • Current sophomore or higher in Environmental Health and Safety/ Quality Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
