Job Description
A Customer Sales Specialist is an ambassador of Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast and the Coca-Cola brand, and specializes in customer service, sales, e-commerce, and support across our bottler territory. This role will reside in the Digital Sales & Service Center (DSSC), and is responsible for building and maintaining professional relationships with our current and potential customers, providing best-in-class service, specialized to each customer and case. The Customer Sales Specialist provides significant support in our e-commerce platform, enhancing digital customer experiences and orders, while also championing local and national initiatives and contributing to business growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and technical support, addressing customer needs and troubleshooting service problems while adhering to communication guidelines
- Sales Initiatives: Support local and national sales initiatives, including promoting new products, supporting E-commerce adoption activities, outbound call initiatives based on business priorities, and achieve daily call quotas and targets
- E-commerce Support & Adoption: Provide frontline support for e-commerce troubleshooting and drive overall customer adoption of the e-commerce platform.
- Customer Solutions: Understand each customer's unique needs and provide tailored solutions to ensure the best possible service
- Business Development: Contribute to the overall growth of the business through various business development activities
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain professional relationships with current and potential customers
- Brand Representation: Represent Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast and the Coca-Cola brand in all customer interactions, fostering positive relationships to enhance the company's image
Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 2+ years of Sales, Care Center or Customer Service experience preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure, especially during peak hours or intense situations; must be decisive
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Valid driver’s license, driving record within policy guidelines, and insurance that meets company requirements
- Ability to occasionally travel, as business needs require
- Ability to clearly convey information and interact effectively with customers and internally
- Capable of identifying issues and providing efficient solutions
- Exemplifies technical proficiency; preferred familiarity with e-commerce platforms, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and other relevant technologies
- Ability to understand customer needs and present suitable sales and service options
- Demonstrates patience, understanding and empathy while addressing customer concerns
- Efficiently manages time to meet call quotas and targets
- Attention to detail and ensures accuracy in maintaining CRM and internal records
- Works well with team members to achieve common goals
