  • Travel Requirements: 10% traveling to other sales centers when necessary

Job Description

The Business Intelligence Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position serves as the link between business needs and technical solutions by gathering requirements, shaping BI strategies, and ensuring the delivery of accurate, actionable insights. The Analyst partners with stakeholders and BI teams to design and implement BI solutions—including dashboards, reports, and data models—that align with organizational objectives and enhance business performance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage BI Projects: Lead and coordinate BI-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, resource alignment, and adherence to business objectives.
  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Partner with business stakeholders to define reporting needs, identify gaps, and translate objectives into actionable BI requirements.
  • Technical Documentation: Create clear, detailed specifications for BI solutions, ensuring seamless collaboration between business and technical teams.
  • Solution Delivery & Validation: Work closely with BI Developers and IT teams to validate dashboards, reports, and data models against business expectations.
  • Data Governance & Quality Assurance: Support governance initiatives by ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with security standards.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance BI tools, workflows, and analytics capabilities to improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Training: Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, providing training and support to maximize BI adoption.
  • Platform & Tool Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for BI platforms and tools, including Snowflake, Tableau, and Margin Miner, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Manage BI Projects: Lead and coordinate BI-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, resource alignment, and adherence to business objectives.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, BI, or data analytics.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and SQL.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and governance principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred

  • Experience with cloud BI platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with BI governance tools such as Alation, Collibra, Atlan
  • Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
  • Relevant certifications (CBAP, Power BI, Tableau).
