Summary

Responsible for supervision and scheduling of transport drivers or common carriers transporting finished goods to sales centers. May also be responsible for warehouse operations while ensuring the safety of our people, workplace and environment and meeting all company, legal and other requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure/manage replenishment distribution to Liberty Coca-Cola is effective and productive. 
• Review, monitor and address full good inventory levels to minimize potential out of stock risk to sales. 
• Create and prioritize product replenishments (IBT s) to meet Liberty Coca-Cola’s DRP Plan. 
• High level of Customer Service focus and response required as an operations liaison to the Sales Centers. 
• Manage inventory levels to plan at third-party warehouses. 
• Train, develop, and monitor Transportation Drivers to achieve maximum productivity. 
• Maintain maximum/optimum fleet utilization. 
• Labor planning and utilization of Transportation Drivers. 
• Ensure operational compliance with D.O.T compliance for Transportation Drivers. 
• Facilitate Monthly Safety Training for Transportation Drivers. 
• Actively participate with Warehouse/Dock management teams within the Division. 
• Optimize Transportation POD. 
• Generate, prepare, review and file daily reports. 
• Other duties as assigned by Transportation Operations Manager.
• Bending, kneeling, lifting of 50+ pounds and climbing.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years in Supply Chain / Logistics environments. 
• Previous experience in Replenishment Planning / Distribution is preferred. 
• Previous experience in Inventory Management is preferred.
• Previous supervisor experience in a Union environment is preferred. 
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees. 
• Ability to interact/communicate successfully with personnel at all levels. 
• Ability to supervise & motivate employees. 
• Ability to develop and implement process improvement. 
• Proficient PC skills to include SAP, Excel, Word
