Summary

The Multi-Craft Supervisor will lead a team of maintenance technicians and ensure the efficient operation, safety, and reliability of all Production, Support, and Facility equipment. This role focuses on executing preventative maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement while ensuring the safety of our people, workplace and environment and meeting all company, legal and other requirements. 

Safety and Compliance

  • Lead and Champion workplace safety initiatives and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Document and report safety incidents and near-misses.
  • Enforce and implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of HAZMAT, SDS, EPA, FDA, and OSHA compliance requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment using 5S principles.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Lead and motivate a team of maintenance technicians through clear communication and accountability.
  • Assign tasks and manage daily/weekly maintenance schedules with the Maintenance Planner.
  • Provide hands-on support and coaching to technicians to resolve technical issues.
  • Manage productivity, efficiency and develop team capabilities through training.
  • Build strong partnerships with Production leadership to align priorities and reduce downtime.

Maintenance and Planning Execution

  • Oversee and ensure execution of preventive maintenance plans and procedures.
  • Monitor equipment performance and initiate corrective actions for inefficiencies or failures.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repairs and prioritize work orders to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure technicians are following established procedures and maintenance schedules. 

Inspection and Troubleshooting

  • Responsible for ensuring regular inspections and audits are performed to identify wear, non-conformities, or safety issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide guidance for mechanical and minor electrical problems and facilitate resolutions.
  • Lead and participate in root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures

Administrative and Reporting

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate maintenance records, work orders, and performance reports.
  • Use of the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) (SAP) effectively for planning and documentation.
  • Generate maintenance reports for plant leadership.

Vendor Management

  • Manage contractor work and ensure compliance with site standards.
  • Assist in preparing and controlling the maintenance budget.
  • Source materials and contractors as needed. 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, preferably in Beverage Manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance and reliability best practices (e.g., TPM, RCM).
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and CMMS.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Ability to prioritize, troubleshoot, and remain calm in high-pressure situations.
  • Periodic bending, kneeling, lifting of 50+ pounds and climbing 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
  • CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional)
  • CMRT (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician)
  • Background in beverage, food processing, or high-speed packaging environments
