Summary
As a key member of the Internal Control Team, the lead auditor will support the internal audit process with strong financial acumen and operational knowledge. They will apply relevant laws, company policies, and analyze the impact of local capital projects. Other key process areas within the risk and control matrix will be tested as needed by the auditor to support the organization’s goal to provide objective assurance, advice, and insight. Coordinate the timely completion of on-site audits and the timely distribution of all reports to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Support and execute operational audit control
- Analysis of reporting and provide insights from audit findings and propose improvements for business execution
- Assist in expansion of key controls
- Analysis of capital projects and impact to KPIs
- Other projects or duties as assigned
- 25% travel required, within Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages territory
- Valid driver’s license for your state of residency (Motor Vehicle Report will be reviewed)
- Personal vehicle available to use for work
Qualifications
In addition to the necessary skills and experience to perform the responsibilities outlined above, there are a number of traits that a successful candidate will possess.
Technical
- Lead auditor will be an accomplished risk management professional, helping monitor identified risks and broaden the scope of the RCM to additional high-risk areas of the business
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, supply chain, management information systems, computer science, or other related field
- 3-5+ years of business finance, internal audit, and other relevant experience
- Fluency with Microsoft Excel functions, excel aptitude evaluation required
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills
- Experience with GRC software, Workiva, preferred
- Previous experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) preferred
- Knowledge of accounting systems, flowcharting and statistical sampling techniques.
- Ability to build relationships while asking tough questions.
- SOP design experience
