Summary

The District Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing a high‑performing sales and merchandising team within an assigned territory. This role oversees daily sales operations, distribution execution, and customer relationship management to ensure strong market performance and compliance with company standards. The District Supervisor manages territory budgets, profitability, and labor, while driving operational excellence across both union and non‑union environments. This position also ensures merchandising standards are consistently met, company and customer equipment is properly maintained, and team member timekeeping practices adhere to policy. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in consumer-packaged goods or direct‑store‑delivery, retail, strong leadership capability, and the ability to deliver results through effective planning, coaching, and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, coach, and develop team members to achieve high performance.
  • Oversee sales, distribution, territory planning, and execution for an assigned district.
  • Manage sales performance, profitability, and operational expenses within budget guidelines (union and non‑union environments).
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support market growth.
  • Ensure merchandising standards, market execution, and company policies are consistently followed.
  • Monitor, audit, and approve team member timekeeping and labor compliance.
  • Organize and maintain company and customer equipment to meet operational and merchandising needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of CPG or DSD sales experience.
  • 3+ years of people‑leadership experience, including managing teams and budgets.
  • Packaged goods experience preferred; beverage experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency with intermediate computer and database applications.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with Nielsen data preferred.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and meet MVR standards.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs., bend, kneel, and reach as required.
