Summary

Responsible for supervising the warehousing and shipping of incoming and outgoing materials. Supervises warehouse personnel and distribution CDL Class A drivers.

Responsibilities

•    Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members. 
•    Supervise the daily activities of the distribution department
•    Schedule team members to meet the demands of the facility. 
•    Assist in managing a safe operating environment reporting issues as needed
•    Secure company assets.
•    Manage all aspects of compliance within the law and practices within internal controls 
•    Manage within labor and OPEX budget
•    Responsible for all RD, Bulk and Drop and Hook planning responsibilities
•    Responsible for the supervision of nonunion dock coordinator
•    Assist in the achievement of planning goals such as stops per truck, cases per truck and full truck utilization

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
•  CDL Class A preferred
• 1-3 years distribution experience required.
• Requires experience managing people
• 2+ years supervising Distribution staff preferred.
• Computer and database application skills.
