Minimum Salary: $120,000.00

Summary

This position is a key HR leader of the Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages (LCCB), responsible for all people aspects of our business in partnership with business leadership in assigned facilities. In addition to ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, this position is responsible for the execution of HR initiatives at the facility or operating department level, investigating and resolving associate complaints and conflicts, and the administration of people systems. This position is also responsible for building employee relations capability and enabling management effectiveness through the execution of proactive employee relations initiatives and the delivery of targeted training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze people metrics to influence the strategic people planning process and provide guidance to leadership in key decision making for employment-related matters.
  • Develop leadership capabilities to identify employee-related opportunities to develop and implement proactive / preventative solutions to achieve targeted results.
  • Lead business leaders through the performance management programs and procedures, including but not limited to performance appraisals, people development forums, succession planning and individual development plans that enable the facilities to continue to invest in the building of the capabilities of a highly talented and diverse leadership team.
  • Lead change management projects and ensure compliance with the execution of Company Employee Communication initiatives (i.e., compensation/benefit plans/policies) across the DC(s).
  • Lead the resolution of complex or high exposure associate complaints, issues and concerns regarding employment practices originating from various sources, including but not limited to grievances, Ethics & Compliance hotline calls, and Solutions complaints.
  • Partner with the Labor Relations team in the planning and coordination of Labor Relations activities including collective bargaining preparation, strike contingency, positive employee relations training (PERT), implementation of business initiatives and ensuring execution of proactive employee engagement programs and plans.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team and business leaders to identify staffing requirements needed to meet the goals and objectives of the organization and ensure the execution of affirmative action plans and local outreach activities to promote the hiring and retention of a qualified and diverse workforce.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, Human Resources or related field or relevant experience required.
  • Post graduate degree in related field or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years HR experience managing multiple client groups and prioritizing associated projects in a fast-paced and high-volume, complex environment.
  • 10+ years’ experience in employee relations.
  • 5+ years’ experience in labor relations.
  • PHR / SPHR Certification preferred.
  • Previous consumer products experience preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous union avoidance experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a unionized environment highly preferred.
