Maximum Salary: $74,000.00

  • Quarterly Incentive Plan: $9,000 per year

Summary

The Market Sales Manager, Wholesale, is responsible for driving profitable growth across the Wholesale channel, including Resellers, Full-Line Operators (FLOs), Club, and Alternate Route to Market (ARTM) customers. This role serves as the primary liaison between Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages, partner distributors, and key wholesale accounts to deliver volume, revenue, and margin growth while ensuring best-in-class execution. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership capabilities, wholesale market expertise, strategic thinking, customer relationship management skills, financial acumen, and a results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives for volume, revenue, market share, and gross profit across the Wholesale and ARTM channels.
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans for Resellers, Full-Line Operators, Club accounts, and other wholesale customers to drive sustainable business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner distributors and key decision-makers to maximize sales opportunities and ensure alignment of business priorities.
  • Conduct regular in-market visits with distributor sales teams to identify growth opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and improve execution standards.
  • Lead monthly business reviews and sales meetings with distributor partners to communicate company priorities, marketing initiatives, promotional programs, and innovation launches.
  • Collaborate closely with brand partners and cross-functional teams to successfully introduce and expand key brands, packages, and innovation opportunities.
  • Train, coach, and develop distributor sales teams on product knowledge, selling strategies, PICOS execution standards, and cooler purity guidelines to improve marketplace execution.

Responsibilities Continued

  • Monitor customer and distributor performance, proactively identifying trends, opportunities, and risks while developing action plans to drive growth and improve results.
  • Ensure compliance with Customer Marketing Agreements (CMAs) and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with contracted customers to evaluate performance and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze purchasing behavior and market trends to protect distribution, identify gaps, and expand share of business within targeted accounts.
  • Partner with Distribution, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure operational excellence, timely deliveries, and return rates that meet company performance targets.
  • Partner with Finance to manage accounts receivable performance and ensure customer balances remain within established payment terms and company objectives.
  • Effectively manage trade spending and operating expenses while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Resolve customer concerns, service issues, and account escalations in a timely and professional manner to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7+ years of Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) sales experience.
  • Beverage industry and distributor/indirect sales experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Reliable personal vehicle and appropriate insurance for business travel.
