Job Overview
The Senior Director, HR Solutions is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Human Resources Information Systems for Coca-Cola Consolidated, improving business processes to enhance our teammate’s experience and leveraging technology to innovate the way the team operates. The Senior Director. HR Solutions will plan and direct the strategy of the Human Resources Information Systems (people data & systems) to support short and long-term organization goals, enable efficiency, and promote cross-company collaborative innovation. This work includes staying current on HR technology trends and educating senior leaders on areas of innovation, identifying, and prioritizing the HR IT needs on behalf of all HR COE’s, and communicating / influencing the IT North America bottler governance model to support implementation of Consolidated’s HR IT needs. The Senior Director, HR Solutions will also have accountability of defining the HR BI strategy and governance model, ensuring a common and aligned definition of Consolidated’s people metrics, providing accurate data insights for business decisions. The Senior Director, HR Solutions will also have ownership of Consolidated’s people data strategies, ensuring appropriate architecture / usage of the data, ensuring data privacy and data provisioning strategies are enforced and tracked to limit the risk exposure to the organization, and has oversight to the quality of our people data across the various technology systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Stays current on HR technology, data, and BI trends, partnering with Consolidated’s technology vendors on understanding the roadmaps, translating, recommending, and prioritizing the capabilities delivered that will enable Consolidated’s HR business strategies. Responsible for supporting the annual budget planning cycle, ensuring Consolidated’s HR IT priorities are aligned and assessing the capacity to deliver and the ability for the organization to absorb the changes. Has input into the long range plan, with consideration to the technology required. 15%
- Owns the operational governance execution between CONA HR and Consolidated. Facilitates decision making between the entities and influences both CONA and the other bottlers to ensure Consolidated’s business interests are prioritized. 15%
- Builds strong partnerships with each of the COEs, ensuring the COE’s technology, data, and BI needs are identified and addressed, ensures successful support of the COE’s technology solutions, conducting frequent business reviews, collecting feedback, and establishing plans to continually improve the services and solutions provided. 15%
- Develops the next generation of leaders for the HR Solution team, identifying key talent within HR, across the organization, and externally to create a healthy pipeline of talent for the team. Establishes career pathing opportunities within the function and in and out of the function 20%
- Ensures the delivery of Consolidated’s Data and BI strategies, defining and executing the appropriate governance processes, driving accountability, and delivering high quality, consistent and accurate information for decision making 15%
- Ensures all technology investments deliver to the ROI, ensuring the delivery of thorough requirements, assessing varying vendor’s ability to meet the requirements, implementing well architected solutions and associated data designs, and conducting post implementation assessments of the ROI realized. For the systems that the HR Solution Team supports, ensures efficiencies are maximized for operational support and the solution supports the day-to-day needs of the organization 20%
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
• 7+ Years in leading HR Solutions functions, responsible for the technology and data needs of the organization.
• 5+ years supporting ERP HRM solutions, preferred SAP’s Successfactors experience
• Technical Proficiency: The Senior Director of HR Solutions should have a deep understanding of HR technology systems, architecture, process design, data structures, particularly HRIS platforms like SAP SuccessFactors, UKG, Paradox, etc..
• Strategic Thinking: This role involves planning and directing the HR technology strategy to enable the organizational goals, promote cross-company collaborative innovation.
• Ability to influence at all levels within the organization AND across other separate bottler entities and the shared technology provider CONA.
• Leadership: The ability to lead and develop a team, creating shared goals to deliver to the technology, data and BI strategies, creating a positive team culture, motivating and developing the next generation of HR technology talent in the organization
• Communication: Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with various stakeholders, including HR teams, IT departments, and executive leadership.
• Process Improvement: Experience in conducting process improvement analysis to recommend better ways to leverage technology
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7 or more years knowledge acquired through work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Human Resources
- PHR or SHRM certification
