Job Overview

The Product Supply Innovation Manager is responsible for planning and executing innovation within the supply chain. This position serves as the main point of contact for managing product supply processes and launching new items, leading subject matter experts in innovation initiatives. Responsibilities include conducting regular meetings to update on project statuses and coordinating forecasting, purchasing, production, deployment, and tracking for innovation commercialization. The role involves developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, creating detailed process maps, and implementing improvements in the commercialization process. Additionally, it collaborates with marketing and revenue growth management to bring commercial plans to fruition and acts as the primary contact for system vendors during new item launches.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plans and ensures execution of Innovation. Serves as the primary point of contact and liaison for managing the various processes of Product Supply and the support of launching new items. Leads subject matter experts on all innovation launches and the supply chain strategy for supporting new items.
  • Conducts regular meetings to present status of innovation projects and coordinate the forecasting, purchasing or production, deployment, and tracking of executing innovation and the commercialization process in the supply chain.
  • Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive documentation. Create detailed process maps and documentation within innovation. Implement process changes and improvements in the commercialization process.
  • Work with marketing and revenue growth management to bring commercial plans to life and communicate exceptions.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact to system vendors for the launch of new items (NAOU, KDP, Monster, BodyArmor, etc.).

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Experience with consumer goods in a sales, supply chain, or marketing role
  • Implementing continuous improvement methods
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain and new product commercialization process
  • Significant data analysis experience and capability and a proven record of analytical and fact-based problem solving
  • Experience with ERP/Planning Systems/Supply Chain/Procurement
  • Strong written and presentation skills
  • An ability to effectively communicate up and down various levels of an organization and develop key relationships across the operational functions of the organization

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge acquired through 4 or more years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Marketing, or other areas of the value chain
  • Experience with Transportation Management System, Enterprise Resource Planning, Supply Chain Planning Software Systems, Reporting and Business Intelligence
