Job Overview

The Product Supply Fulfillment Planner is responsible for managing inventory for over 600 finished goods across hub and VAF locations. This role ensures products remain in stock while maintaining low inventory levels (DOS) and supports customer needs, including special requests and new SKU launches. The Planner I collaborates with DC planners sourced from their assigned hub to optimize settings, balance outbound loads, and manage returns that impact the hub network. They work closely with logistics and warehouse operations, who manage a higher number of vendors, to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, the Planner I manages hub space with production centers or shuttles and creates push plans for close-dated or stranded inventory to nearby distribution centers to minimize write-offs. The planner spearheads system initiatives to enhance efficiencies and support effective decision-making within supply chain operations. Success in this role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage capacity challenges effectively.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages assigned CCCI hub/VAF locations to oversee produced/purchased finished good loads in accordance with Product Supply Planning processes (Level loading, ABC sku compliance). Creates and manages purchase orders (PO)s and stock transport orders (STO)s for product deployment.
  • Oversees the maintenance of new SKUs, ensuring alignment with deployment plans. Monitors the planned loads for assigned hubs, ensuring that distribution centers cross-docking through these hubs receive products on time, allowing them to pull inventory and be ready for D1M1
  • Maintains and analyzes system SKU settings, reviewing and adjusting them at the hub level. This includes managing safety stock levels, ordering pallet quantities to reduce partials both inbound and outbound, ensuring ABC SKU compliance, and updating sourcing records.
  • Hosts weekly Close Dated Report (CDR) call for assigned hubs to review and address close- dated inventory. They create push plans and make strategic decisions on moving products out versus writing them off, ensuring timely action is taken to minimize obsolescence and potential losses
  • Manages inventory and optimizes space to balance produced and purchased product needs, ensuring efficient storage utilization. Pulls high inventory and stranded products bi-weekly to prevent write-offs by pushing them out to distribution centers or cutting inbound loads.
  • Monitors inbound and outbound capacity of the hub by identifying bottlenecks and informing hub operations of any holiday planning or demand spikes. Collaborates with hub management to ensure adequate resources are in place to meet changes in demand.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Customer Focused and responds to internal and external requests in a timely manner and strives to deliver quality outputs for assigned hubs. Is perceived by customers as supportive and polite. Demonstrates a sincere interest in listening to and responding to customer needs.
  • Communicates clearly and logically using appropriate written and oral techniques. Shares information appropriately with others. Communication is professional and is a good listener.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to triage tasks, and steer departmental actions when dock and inventory capacity are exceeded. Influence DC Planners to optimize settings, level load outbounds, and returns that impact hub planning.
  • Inventory management knowledge used to meet customer service needs while optimizing warehouse operations to prevent out of stock and overstock for hub and distribution centers pulling from hub. Share and optimize hub space appropriately with production center or shuttles. Creates push plans for close-dated or stranded inventory at hub to distribution centers that are close and have the throughput to eliminate write-offs.
  • Technical & Digital skills used to maximize supply chain software, data visualization, and Microsoft suite.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience
