Job Overview
The Payroll Business Analyst I is responsible for providing administrative support to all of the daily payroll functions in SAP and Workforce Dimensions for CCCI. This position is vital to the smooth operation of our payroll systems. By ensuring compliance, optimizing processes, and providing strategic insights, this role helps to ensure that teammates are paid accurately and on time, and that CCCI remains in compliance with all relevant regulations. Will provide training for payroll staff and other relevant teammates on new systems, processes, and compliance requirements. Works closely with HR, Finance, and IT departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes with other business functions. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate and analyze payroll reports for management, providing insights and recommendations based on the data in a timely manner.
- Acts as team subject matter expert for testing system improvements and updates.
- Identifies, recommends, and supports the implementation of efficiency improvements in team processes or automation tools.
- Provide support to teammates regarding payroll-related inquiries and issues.
- Conduct training sessions on new processes and compliance requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and generate meaningful insight.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of payroll processing and reporting.
- Possess core troubleshooting skills to resolve payroll discrepancies or issues, and able to train teammates effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to explain complex payroll concepts to non-experts.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues across the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 Years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
