Job Overview
The IT Development Engineer I plays a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative IT solutions across platforms such as ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, and AI technologies like Moveworks and Microsoft Copilot. This position is ideal for a technically skilled and motivated individual who thrives on solving complex problems and is committed to continuous learning and improvement. The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and driving digital transformation through intelligent automation and system integration.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Writes code in lower-level (i.e. JavaScript, PowerShell, SQL, Python) programming languages to optimize the performance and efficiency of an organization’s IT platform, infrastructure, and operations.
- Design, develop, and implement solutions in ServiceNow to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Work with AI platforms like Moveworks and Microsoft Copilot to enhance automation and provide intelligent solutions to business challenges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, and AI platforms.
- Develops both technical and non-technical documentation to facilitate cross-training among team members and to share knowledge with end users.
- Provides ongoing support, maintenance activities, and other duties as determined by the team.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- 1-3 years of experience utilizing generative AI and knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs).
- 1-3 years of experience in system integrations using common protocols (REST, SOAP, JDBC, etc.).
- 1-3 years of experience utilizing ServiceNow to solve business problem
- 1-3 years of experience using scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, JavaScript and SQL.
- Basic understanding of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge acquired through 1-3 years of work experience
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with AI platforms such as Moveworks and Microsoft Copilot.
