Job Overview

The HR Operations Specialist will support the HR Operations Representatives through coaching and mentoring while also focusing on the compliance of critical programs such as I-9 management and unemployment compensation. This role will serve as an escalation point for major service issues or trends and will play a critical role in the success of service improvement initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching and support to HR Operations Representatives (I & II) and support service improvement initiatives, including leader support and training.
  • Support I-9 and unemployment compensation process audits, vendor relationships and process improvement initiatives.
  • Respond to more complex or sensitive HR-related inquiries and basic HR cases requiring in-depth knowledge.
  • Support Manager in severance agreements, confidential file and subpoena requests.
  • Provide support to Office Coordinators through maintenance of OC resources, chat monitoring, and meeting material preparation, including other tasks as needed.
  • Support maintenance of SOPs and knowledge articles.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a service center environment; additional consideration given for PHR/SHRM-CP certification or experience managing program compliance

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 to up to 5 years of knowledge acquired through work experience 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communication, Organizational Behavior
