Job Overview

As an Early Career Talent Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing and managing programs that foster employee growth, build leadership capabilities, and support career development across the organization. From internships and apprenticeships to rotational leadership programs, you will help create and facilitate meaningful, structured experiences that accelerate development and build a strong talent pipeline.
This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who builds strong partnerships, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is passionate about developing the next generation of servant leaders. You’ll collaborate closely with department leaders, HR business partners, and stakeholders across the business to deliver impactful learning experiences and support talent development across the organization.
By facilitating workshops, supporting emerging talent, and driving career development efforts, you’ll help foster a culture of growth and ensure Coca-Cola Consolidated continues to attract, develop and retain early career talent who are ready to lead with purpose.
Duties & Responsibilities
Early Career Strategy, Planning & Analytics
- Partner with functional leaders to understand workforce needs and translate them into early career talent strategies.
- Support the execution of internship, apprenticeship, and rotational program plans that align with business goals and future talent pipelines.
- Leverage tools and technology to track program performance, engagement, and placement outcomes; report insights to drive continuous improvement.
Early Career Development & Performance Support
- Support early career participants in navigating career pathways and development opportunities that align with business needs.
- Help coordinate learning experiences and development plans that build foundational skills and prepare participants for long-term success.
Teammate Engagement & Retention
- Collaborate with leaders to create a meaningful and engaging experience for early career participants.
- Gather feedback through surveys and touchpoints; analyze insights to inform retention strategies and program improvements.
Teammate Experience & Program Execution
- Facilitate and coordinate onboarding experiences and learning sessions that support smooth transitions into the organization.
- Leads and coordinates talent pipeline programs, including internships, apprenticeships, and management trainee initiatives.
Learning Facilitation & Skill Development
- Deliver and support skill-building sessions and learning opportunities tailored to early career talent
- Ensure participants have access to tools, resources, and training needed to build core capabilities for long-term success.
Leadership Development Programs
- Assist with the implementation of development activities that help identify and prepare high-potential early career talent for future leadership roles.
- Track key metrics and feedback to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Prior experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development, Human Resources, and Leadership Development
- Leadership and Coaching: Ability to mentor, guide, and inspire employees to grow in their roles, with strong leadership development skills
- Strategic Thinking: Aligns talent development initiatives with organizational goals and identifies long-term strategies for workforce growth
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to deliver training, facilitate workshops, and collaborate with stakeholders
- Assessment and Evaluation: Proficient in conducting training needs assessments, analyzing employee performance, and measuring the effectiveness of development programs
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to build strong relationships with leaders, HR teams, and employees to drive talent initiatives across the organization
- Project Management: Capable of managing multiple talent development initiatives, timelines, and budgets efficiently.
- Change Management: Skilled in supporting employees through transitions, new systems, or organizational changes by developing relevant training and guidance
- Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Conflict resolution: Understanding and managing one’s own emotions and those of others, fostering a positive, empathetic learning environment
- Adaptability and Innovation: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and introduce new, creative development solutions
- Technology Proficiency: Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other tools for delivering and tracking training programs
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or four year degree preferred
Work Environment
This person would participate in a 4 days a week in office with 1 day from home remote flexibility
