Job Overview
The Director Marketing Capabilities – Customer Marketing is responsible for leading the Customer Marketing Team in the development and implementation of CCCI’s customer marketing strategy. The Director will establish a process to incorporate CCCI’s customer marketing team into the Customer Joint Business Planning (JBP) process by establishing mutual and shared accountabilities and objectives designed to grow the customer’s beverage business through specific commercial marketing initiatives. The Director will work collaboratively with internal and external constituents to ensure effective implementation of brand and channel strategies into specific customer marketing activations through both brick-and-mortar and digital capabilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides extensive input into CCCI’s customer marketing strategy with an extensive focus on core customers led by Consolidated.
- Leads customer marketing team in the implementation of customer marketing strategies across assigned customer base.
- Works collaboratively with corporate partner customer marketing leadership to understand brand-centric communication strategies while incorporating them into customer marketing campaigns.
- Provides extensive input into CCCI’s digital customer marketing investment strategy inclusive of retailer media network investments. Collaborates with customer and RGM leadership on the development of an effective ROI analysis that drives a positive outcome for both customer growth and brand marketing impact.
- Establishes process for analysis of customer marketing initiatives including ROI against key investments across customer-centric commercial activities and retailer media network investments.
- Develops and implements routines to share best practices and to review outputs of customer marketing initiatives.
- In collaboration with the channel commercialization team and Consumer Connections Team, establishes a process of accountability for the integration of marketing assets into customer marketing initiatives. Ensures brand, partner, and legal compliance for specific customer marketing initiatives.

Leadership - Ability to lead and motivate an entire department across various marketing capabilities while establishing credibility with customer teams, corporate partners and other bottlers.
Strategic Thinking – Ability to align marketing strategies with business objectives, anticipate and understand market trends and establish a long-term vision for success.
Customer-Centric Collaboration & Strategy Development – Ability to understand the motivations and objectives of key customers and to assist the customer in accomplishing those objectives while at the same time meeting the needs of the brand and consumer.
Data Driven Decision Making – Ability to review a wide array of data analytics and organize the inputs to arrive at a specific conclusion or objective.
Digital Marketing Expertise – Proven experience in digital marketing capabilities including digital media campaign development and retail media network management.
Project Management Skills – Ability to balance a wide array of projects and meet key timelines while following established process for brand and legal approvals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (4 years)
- Knowledge acquired through work experience 3 up to 5 years
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or similar applicable field.
