Job Overview
The Director, Maintenance Operations is responsible for delivering industry-leading maintenance performance and asset utilization to internal and external customers. Responsible for meeting, exceeding annual revenue goals, and linking our sales and operations team members in a seamless manner that supports industry-leading best in class customer service and revenue generation performance. Responsible for delivering excellence in cost, vehicle availability, asset utilization, shop productivity management, performance improvements, fleet compliance, and customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver optimal maintenance operations performance that meets or exceeds the needs of the business, annual revenue goals, and customer expectations (SLA’s). Responsible for developing and delivering high-performance maintenance operations through the implementation of industry standards, and technician training, best practice application, and audit, and compliance to RCT and regulatory standards
- Audit and report performance of all area’s fleet shop operations to the leadership team and coaches Area Maintenance Managers in the creation of action plans to improve performance of low performing shop(s)
- Deliver year-over-year ROIC improvement, partner with CCCI Leadership, and other new business development opportunities to increase utilization and optimization of capital planning for all organizations. Responsible for effective relocation and disposition of assets. Work in partnership with Procurement manager on the effective acquisition of assets
- Serve as an advisor to RCT and Coca-Cola Consolidated Leadership, in the planning of maintenance budget and communicate actual monthly maintenance expenses and offer solutions to maintain or lower costs by assets, which could include involvement in both CCCI and RCT’s annual capital planning cycle. Act as a leader within Red Classic in cost management, productivity management, and business improvement strategies and techniques that drive profitability
- Review and advise on assigned technology initiatives and process improvement projects to drive improved equipment performance or shop productivity. Lead a team of Maintenance back-office Team Members, and ensuring performance meets, exceeds Red Classic expectations producing accurate invoicing for our customers and revenue growth at levels equal to or greater than Budget
- Direct, lead, and motivate a team to deliver results by communicating company goals and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training; implementing continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership

- Required 60% Travel Combination of office, shop floor time, and customer management
- Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar elements regularly
- Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, or exposure to toxic chemicals
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds rarely rarely
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge acquired through 7 or more years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field
- 7 years of work experience in Fleet Maintenance, Operations or Supply Chain
