Job Overview
Director BI and Strategic Analytics will create the strategic roadmap in enabling data as a strategic asset and driver of innovation. This hands-on leader will use business intelligence, data science and predictive analytics to translate data into actionable insights and insights into concrete initiatives and products. The analytic solutions span the product lifecycle and enable process-centric strategies to improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness. The BI and Strategic Analytics leader will also be strategically positioned to support analytical Proof of Concepts and maturity of analytics at CCCI and in the bottling system through their leadership in the Digital and Innovation community with CONA. Role will be both an analytics leader and practitioner, leading and continuing to build BI and Analytics capabilities while partnering closely with the Executive and Sr. Leadership of business, product, marketing, and technology teams across the organization. This leader is also responsible for supporting the CCBCC’s ecosystem of business unit’s roadmap and through data science and analytics deliver industry-leading solutions and products.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Engage ELT, Sr. Leaders, and Digital organization business and technical partners to build and drive the analytic roadmap and strategy, design innovative and practical analytic solutions and execute on our transformative mission (CONA, Coke Bottlers and 3rd party vendors)
- Design and lead data science projects across the full lifecycle, starting with business understanding through solution deployment, working cross-functionally with SME and IT teams
- Use a hypothesis-driven approach to solve problems and address business questions, to rapidly test/iterate exploratory analyses that identify insights and opportunities
- Enable and develop the current cultural environment to an analytics community by Investigating, identifying, and developing new methods, algorithms, and technologies to foster a culture of innovation and deliver industry-leading solutions
- Communicate results in an effective manner to internal and external clients with technical and non-technical backgrounds
- Maintain a balance between rigorous solutions, scalability, and time to market with industry trends
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Technical Skills: SQL, SAP Structure, ETL Concepts, Analytic concepts, mathematics, statistics Dashboarding (Tableau/Power BI), Python, R, Alteryx, Snowflake Datawarehouse or data retrieving programs preferred
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts: loss functions, regularization, feature selection, regression/classification, cross-validation, bagging, kernel methods, sampling, and probability distributions.
- Soft skills: Management experience, Model development, Understanding of business units (supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, sales, finance, ect.) Understand the business objectives and provide input and recommendations based on analytical findings. Ability to socialize and convey advanced analytics theories to nontechnical and C-Suite stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge acquired through 7 or more years of relevant work experience
