Job Overview

The Carrier Compliance Rep is responsible for leading Red Classic's process and execution regarding 3rd party carrier partner compliance and registration. The position will review and validate each of Red Classic and Coca-Cola Consolidated's 3rd party carrier’s insurance, safety, W9, and DOT inspection qualifications ensuring each carrier meets the standards set by both companies. The Carrier Compliance Rep has the discretion to supplement the compliance process with additional checkpoints as they see fit to ensure fraudulent activity and liability to the company is limited. This role also has the discretion to approve or deny a carrier based on evidence provided and the set process for compliance review. This position is responsible for engaging cross functionally with both Red Classic and Coca-Cola Consolidated operations, safety, and risk departments to actively review and maintain the carrier compliance process. This position also executed daily and weekly reporting ensuring systems are aligned with proper carrier data.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Utilizes multiple systems to research and approve or deny all 3rd party carrier’s request to retain an active profile with Red Classic allowing them to do business
  • Updates carrier records related to carrier compliance in all necessary compliance systems
  • Collaborates cross functionally to maintain processes and drive improvement in processes, limiting company liability to fraudulent carrier activity
  • Research into Carrier safety scores and ensure corrective action plans from carriers are implemented
  • Provides timely communication of any potential compliance problems to all internal stakeholders
  • Utilize excel to execute daily and weekly reporting
     

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Teammate will need a strong knowledge base in Customer Service, Communication skills, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams
  • Teammate will gain knowledge in TMW, RMIS, Highway, Carrier 411, Safer
      

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED  
  • Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree
  • 1 to 3 years of related Customer Service or Logistics experience
