Job Overview
The Accounting & Financial System Analyst II position is responsible for assisting the Manager of Financial Reporting and Analytics on accounting process improvement projects and SAP financial system projects. This position will assist with all accounting processes, month-end processing, and financial reporting. The position will also develop skills in order to serve as the internal expert on Brand Funding and other processes to support the business.
Duties & Responsibilities

Carries out routine financial accounting processes including journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliations.
- Compiles and creates Accounting and Finance reports and maintains existing reports to support business needs
- Assist management on project work, process development, and process improvement opportunities

Prepares monthly, quarterly, and year-end profitability reporting and variance analysis by collecting, reviewing business performance and financial information; summarizing financial status

Accounting and Finance subject matter expert for special projects outside of Finance in coordination with other functions across the organization
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Expert in MS Excel
- Experience with SAP FI-GL and FI-CO modules or other ERP system
- Experience with SQL, HANA, and/or Tableau
- Strong technical aptitude
- Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills
- Strong communication, planning, and organization skills
- High degree of self-motivation and initiative
- Some travel may be required
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
- Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Information Systems
