Job Overview

The RGM (Revenue Growth Management) Lead II LCAM is responsible for the strategic development of revenue and profit growth within locally-managed Convenience Retail (CR) chains by identifying and activating high-potential opportunities based on trends, post-event data, and commercial initiatives while collaborating with the Local Chain Account Managers and the field sales operations teams. This role is accountable to deliver the annual Revenue, Rate, and Profit plan for CCCI while also creating customer value.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Optimize trade investment and lead cross functional negotiations for profitable customer marketing agreements within local CR Chains
  • Integrate commercial plan strategic actions into ongoing customer plan and influence strategic shifts, guiding customized action plans if needed.
  • Manage exceptions to and influence the general market CR channel Price Package Plan, ensuring a competitive, coherent, & profitable strategy is executed
  • Leverage a wide variety of internal and external data sources to form actionable insights (Tableau, Power BI, Margin Minder, Nielsen, customer scan data, PDI, etc.)
  • Monitor and influence the downhill sales forecast for the local CR channel, surface forecasted deficits to annual budget, and collaborate to form contingency plans
  • Foster ongoing communication, standard reporting, and monthly business reviews with sales teams and leadership, providing topline analytics that drive value-added action
  • Influence the annual planning process for the local CR channel by integrating commercial strategies and objectives, historical performance trends, and macro factors to gain executive, cross-functional and customer alignment to hit cascaded Revenue and Rate targets
  • Collaborate with RGM Execution to monitor price and trade investment actuals vs expected for local CR chains; ensure execution accuracy and collaborate in resolving any disputes or discrepancies
  • Provide ongoing insight and expertise on planning tools and RGM processes to optimize efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Strong Project Management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Data management and data manipulation across Microsoft Office suite and in-house systems
  • High understanding of Pricing and RGM principles
  • Experience within CPG industry preferred

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
  • Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Marketing
