Role Details
- Work Location – Toronto
- Hybrid Environment – This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule. Subject to change. The in-office requirement is a minimum of three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), with the flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days.
- Salary – The base salary for the position is $81,000- $112,500. The starting base salary is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, experience and internal equity.

About This Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Specialist, Revenue Growth Management (RGM) to join our Revenue Growth Management team. This RGM Specialist contributes to the creation of analytical tools and provides timely, centralized data insights to support management routines and fact based decision making, with a focus on driving profitable and sustainable revenue growth. Insights and recommendations from this role play a key role in uncovering customer growth opportunities.
This is an exciting opportunity to leverage analytics and data storytelling to support key commercial decisions and gain exposure to pricing, promotion, and customer growth strategies.
Responsibilities
Pricing and Contract Governance
- Support customer pricing analyses by providing benchmarking and profit ROI (Return on Investment) insights to optimize deal structures.
- Conduct post audit analyses to evaluate actual performance against forecasts and identify actionable opportunities.
- Provide governance and stewardship throughout the pricing decision making and contract management processes.
- Build and manage strong cross functional relationships with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and Operations.
Trade and Promotion Optimization
- Support the optimization of customer promotion activities by evaluating promotional depth, frequency, and pricing slopes.
- Measure trade spend ROI (Return on Investment) for promotions versus base business, and provide recommendations to optimize investment effectiveness.
Customer Support
- Partner with the Customer team to drive profitable, sustainable growth through data driven pricing, pack, promotion, and trade strategies.
- Translate analysis into customer ready selling stories that optimize trade spend, protect margin, and support topline growth.
- Balance rigorous analytics with commercial storytelling to effectively support Customer team objectives.
Annual Revenue Planning Process
- Support the business planning process by assessing planning files against key assumptions, including volume, rate, and mix impacts for both base business and new sources of growth.
- Assist in building annual rate increase scenarios by analyzing current internal pricing, external retail information, COGS (cost of goods sold), and volume elasticity to recommend optimal outcomes.
Ad-hoc Support and Reporting
- Provide detailed monthly and year to date reporting, with a focus on performance versus business plan and prior year.
- Support the analysis of retail and shipment data, leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Act as an analytical support function for RGM Managers, while reporting directly to the Senior Manager.
Qualifications
- College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (commerce, finance, economics, data science, mathematics, or general business), with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of business analysis experience (sales, category management, commercial, or finance experience preferred).
- Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry considered an asset.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to model large data sets (macros considered an asset).
- Experience with SAP, Power BI, Tableau, and AC Nielsen considered an asset.
- Exposure to introductory data science concepts or programming languages considered an asset.
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
- Proven problem solver who identifies efficiencies through process and tool innovation.
- Performance driven, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
