Role Details

  • Work Location - This role is primarily remote (work-from-home). The successful candidate is expected to attend the Toronto office for mandatory meetings as required, with a minimum of once per month. Frequency may increase based on business needs.
  • Salary – The full base salary range for this position is from $82,800 - $115,000 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.
  • Initial Posting Close Date – June 17, 2026

About This Opportunity

We are recruiting a Customer Sales Specialist to join our Customer Sales team. The Customer Sales Specialist supports our Convenience Retail customers by partnering closely with the National Account Team to deliver strong business planning, forecasting, and pricing strategies. This role leverages syndicated customer data to identify growth opportunities, conduct performance reviews, and align recommendations prior to execution with internal stakeholders (Forecasting, Finance, Bottler) and the customer.

 

In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the annual Joint Business Plan by conducting analysis, contributing to plan development, and providing ongoing forecasting insights as part of regular business routines. The role also supports day-to-day communication with the customer and field teams to ensure effective execution and alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Provides timely and accurate reporting and insights to the Sales and Management teams; supports field communication and assists in presenting the Joint Business Plan. 
  • Supports the development and analysis of the Joint Business Plan, including opportunity assessments, industry benchmarking, and gap analysis. 
  • Analyzes performance against the Joint Business Plan, including Sources of Growth, price/package changes, mix shifts, and operational factors (e.g., out-of-stocks, minimum order quantities). 
  • Prepares and contributes to KBI reporting and Management Routine updates. 
  • Identifies opportunities, conducts reviews with the Account Team, and aligns on recommendations prior to submission to key stakeholders. 
  • Supports the execution of innovation launches across in-store and digital channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the food and/or CPG industry preferred. 
  • Experience in finance, sales, category management, or business planning analysis is considered an asset. 
  • Experience within the Numerator, Nielsen, Margin Minder and Circana is a strong asset. 
  • Strong technical and computer skills required, including advanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros) and working knowledge of tools such as Access.
