About This Opportunity

In this role, you will manage and deliver Coke Canada’s annual category business plans, manage the innovation pipeline and all associated activities, and act as a thought leader for the category. This highly cross-functional role requires excellent influencing and problem-solving skills, along with comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

•    Lead the Commercial Strategy for Coke Canada and work with our Brand Partners on the ideation around growth and innovation.
•    Create overall growth plans by category (sources of growth), ensuring category targets are in line with our strategic goals and brand expectations.
•    Collaborate with Brand Partners on annual commercial planning process.
•    Act as a key Coke Canada lead with Brand Commercial and Marketing teams, aligning on calendar of activities, market programs and focus periods.
•    Act as commercial category subject matter expert, including identifying needs for market-specific initiatives, risks and opportunities.
•    Analyze business results, assess opportunities, and identify and lead the development of gap closing plans with the commercial execution, revenue growth management and sales teams. 
•    Manage portfolio optimization and innovation pipeline and all associated activities for the commercialization of new products and skus, working with Brand Partners to optimize existing package/flavour assortment in line with relevant consumer insights, and ensuring new Coke Canada SKUs are all profitable, commercially viable, and executed successfully in market.
 

Qualifications

•    5+ years of commercial, sales, or marketing experience.
•    Strategic & analytical thinking: demonstrated thought-leadership.
•    Ability to draw insights and develop strategies grounded in facts.
•    Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, functions, formulas, etc.).
•    Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
•    Ability to present to stakeholders at all levels of organization including senior leadership.
•    Brand Strategy / Brand Marketing experience is an asset.
•    Experience leading people in a cross-functional environment is an asset.
•    Relevant Masters degree an asset.
