Role Details
- Work Location – This is a work-from-home position with occasional travel to the office required, at least once per month
- Salary – The full base salary range for this position is from $121,500 - $168,750 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.

About This Opportunity
We are recruiting a Senior Category Manager to join our Category Management & Insights team. As a Senior Category Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic framework that drives category growth for Coca-Cola Canada and our brand partners.
In this role, you will leverage data and market insights to identify growth opportunities and translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations. You will have the opportunity to influence high-impact decisions, work closely with cross-functional teams and retail partners, and help shape the future of category strategy across multiple channels.
Acting as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and retail partners, you will provide expert insights on consumer and shopper behavior, supporting informed, data-driven decisions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead fact-based category discussions with commercial and customer teams, addressing key business questions and shaping strategies to drive future category growth.
- Provide business assessments and support the development of joint business plans with key stakeholders.
- Identify market trends and assess their impact on existing categories, as well as emerging opportunities.
- Deliver and, where needed, develop shopper insights to strengthen understanding of consumer behavior for both Coca-Cola and retail partners.
- Collaborate with brand partners and their insights teams to build and enhance future capabilities.
- Support company growth objectives by working closely with internal and external stakeholders, driving beverage growth across retail and foodservice channels.
- Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to develop customer-focused category growth recommendations aligned to strategic priorities.
- Ensure customer-centric, forward-thinking approaches are consistently applied.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
- Experience in Category Management, Account Management, or Consumer Insights.
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear, compelling insights.
- Strong ability to manage multiple cross-functional priorities with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
