About This Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-driven Senior Analyst, Total Rewards, who enjoys a hands‑on role focused on compensation programs. In this role, you will support the delivery of total rewards programs with a focus on the administration and execution of the compensation cycle, sales incentive payouts, and market surveys. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience working with data and processes. This position is located at our downtown Toronto office (minimum 3 days per week in-office) and will support multiple site locations in Canada.

 

Reporting to the Manager, Compensation, you will play an important role in bringing total rewards programs to life for employees. This role is ideal if you are passionate and curious about data, enjoy engaging with employees, and eager to build depth and expertise in compensation and total rewards. Responsibilities

  • Support all compensation programs including annual merit increases and the annual incentive processes.
  • Develop in-depth costing models and quantitative analysis using Excel or Power BI.
  • Administer Quarterly Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) payouts.
  • Data collection and participation in annual and ad-hoc compensation and total rewards surveys.
  • Support compensation analyses using internal data and external market information.
  • Assist with job evaluation process.
  • Conduct research and complete data analysis requests to support Labour Relations and collective bargaining needs.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support across total rewards programs, including wellness, leaves, benefits, pension and retirement savings, and core operations.
  • Assist with the development, preparation and distribution of total rewards communication materials.
  • Ad-hoc tasks and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree/college diploma or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of relevant HR and/or total rewards experience with emphasis on compensation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel managing complex spreadsheets and large data sets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence when presenting to diverse groups.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment and/or shared services model is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain technical data information to all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work effectively in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
