Role Details

  • Work Location – Toronto
  • Shift/Hours or Hybrid Environment – Monday to Friday, days.
  • Travel – 10-20% of time will be spend traveling domestically. 
  • The full base salary range for this position is from $108,000 - $120,000 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.


About This Opportunity

The National Account Executive I, Club Coke is responsible for developing and overseeing the DSD Club Coke program, which focuses on supporting frontline field sales to win with independent retailers and drive Coca-Cola's strategic priorities. They will be responsible for the development of direct sales strategies aimed at achieving and/or exceeding the predetermined sales objectives to support the growth of the company's business. The position sells products and services to our local and independent accounts. As an individual contributor, the successful candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of customer management, revenue growth, P&L/financial acumen, local sales and marketing, along with the ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects.


This role will engage the field sales team to secure retailer participation, negotiate agreements, and ensure high-quality service and program compliance. Regularly communicate performance goals and support field sales in managing retailer relationships. Collaborate on discount structuring, budgeting, and profitability analysis to maintain the program’s financial health and align with corporate objectives. Partner with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that support the Club Coke program, helping to drive retailer awareness and engagement.

Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee field sales activities to ensure the accurate execution of Club Coke agreements, including monitoring compliance and maintaining engagement with retailer commitments.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on Club Coke program performance, analyzing metrics related to retailer engagement, sales volume, and strategic priority achievement to inform adjustments to the program.
  • Manage and lead annual business planning with the strategic goals to develop and execute key partnership initiatives, category programs and drive brand sales.
  • Contact/visit customers to review and identify strategic direction, problem areas and opportunities to promote product growth.
  • Develop relationships with all key internal functions: frontline sales, sales initiatives, myCoke, finance, commercial.
  • Keep abreast of competitive activities within the responsible geographies and communicate appropriate activity in a timely manner.
  • Lead the stewardship routines with across functions that measures/communicates each department’s activities against mutually agreed upon plan.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Must possess at least 3 years of national sales experience within the beverage or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industries.
  • Must possess the ability to seek alternatives and recommend best solutions that gain all parties support and lead to win-win result.
  • The ability to lead, prioritize, collaborate, and execute complex projects
  • Relationship management (suppliers, contractors, bottlers) knowledge of third-party supplier/contractor culture/core competencies is required
  • Skills: Proven ability to develop business plans, negotiate contracts, and manage customer relationships. Proficient in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and other business applications.
